Study Groups

Delving into a wide range of topics, Study Group members learn together about a topic of common interest. Each group member researches an aspect of the topic and then gives a talk to other group members at an informal meeting. No knowledge nor any previous experience of the topic is needed to join a Study Group. Topics last year were Music Appreciation, Middle East Explorations and Ornamentation. The Study Group chooses the topic, venue and schedule for meetings.

Please check the Forthcoming Events section for information about Study Groups that you can join, or form your own Study Group. If there is a topic you wish to explore and you can gather at least five like-minded people, ask MVP's Study Group Coordinator how you can get the group organized. Be a Study Group leader or member and have fun!

Manila Explorers

As a group we will seek out the hidden treasures of Manila - interesting places, buildings, events and anything else. Our exploring will be scheduled for different days of the week, we will car pool and share expenses. Members are welcome to join but are advised that this is definitely not a tour as there is very little or no pre-planning. We may find something great but at the same time there may be disappointment. For more information refer to our Forthcoming Events page.
